Chaos Dectector Supply Chest

The kit includes:

• A Chaos Dectector Mk1 circuit board
• A 8cm Sweat band
• 3x Thermoelectric modules (40mm x 40mm)
• 1g Thermal compound and spreader
• 1oz Neutral cure silicone rubber sealant

• Soldering iron and solder
• Tweezers
• Wire clippers/strippers
• Voltmeter
• Scissors
• Ruler
• Marker
• Paper towels

Commander Lamp LLC uses two carriers, USPS (United States Postal Service) and DHL (Dalsey, Hillblom and Lynn) for shipping. USPS is traditionally cheaper and does not always provide detailed tracking. Weekend delivery is not available. DHL Express Worldwide is available to many countries across the globe. If DHL shipping is available to your location, the option will show at checkout. 

We do not offer drop shipping or "blind shipment".

Domestic Shipping Options and Times

• USPS Ground Advantage™ is a low cost service and is insured up to $100. Delivery estimates range from 2-5 business days once shipped. Please note this is not a guaranteed delivery service and packages may take longer to arrive. Tracking is available and will be sent to you when your order ships.

• Priority Mail (USA) is insured up to $100 and trackable (package receives up to 8 scans during the shipping process). Priority mail usually arrives within 3-5 business days once shipped. 

All of the quoted transit times are in business days, and do not include weekends, US holidays, etc.

To arrange for a return, use the contact form. We can only accept returns of unopened kits and products, within 30 days of receipt (for international orders, 30 days from shipment). This applies to both items within the Box and the full Box. Any returns after 30 days are in store credit only if the return is approved in advance. Returns for Purchase Orders are store credit only. There is a 5% restocking fee for orders returned valued at $500 or more. We do not accept any returns on orders that are over 6 months old. Customers are responsible for both the return shipping costs and shipping costs from the original order unless the product arrives damaged or defective. Please contact us before returning any package! We're reasonable people and we hope you are too! Contact us if you have any issues and we'll do our best to help you out!

Chaos Dectector Circuit Board:

• Use the Chaos Dectector circuit board ONLY with themoelectric modules provided in the kit. DO NOT power circuit board with any other form of power supply, such as but not limited to any battery, bench power supply, or USB power supply. Powering the circuit board with any other type of supply, except the provided thermoelectric modules, CAN damage the circuit board.
• The circuit board is NOT water proof nor water resistant. We CANNOT guarantee any form of water resistance added to the circuit board when coating the circuit board with a silicone rubber sealant, provided in the kit. We CANNOT guarantee the circuit board will not be damaged if the circuit board is machine or hand washed inside the Chaos Dectector.

 

Thermoelectric Modules:

• Take care when handling the thermoelectric modules, as they are FRAGILE and prone to CRACKING, CHIPPING, and BREAKING. They may become SHAP when broken.
• PLEASE INSPECT the modules before opening them from their clear bubble wrap packaging. If a crack or chip is discovered, a replacement can potentially be arranged, ONLY if bubble wrap bag is unopened. A picture or video of the crack on the thermoelectric module will need to be presented to us to determine if a replacement should be provided. If a crack, chip, or break on the module is discovered after opening the bubble wrap bag, a replacement will not be issued. 
• DO NOT machine wash the Chaos Dectector as the thermoelectric modules can break, leaving SHARP pieces of ceramic in the washer or dryer. Inaddition, we CANNOT guarantee the thermoelectric module will not be damaged if it is hand washed with the Chaos Dectector. 
• Avoid powering the modules with any power supply. We cannot guarantee that they will get damaged if they are powered.

• If it gets on your skin, wash it off with soap and water.
