Welcome Chosen One,
Our paths have finally crossed. The journey of harnessing your potential has lead you here. Every event that has occurred leading up to this very moment was not random. This is where you are suppose to be at this very moment. Now that you are here, allow me to introduce myself. I am Commander Lamp and it would be my honor to be a guide on your journey.

You have been chosen, for you possess potential. There’s no surprise there, you already knew that. I remember when I started my own journey of harnessing my potential many moons ago. Throughout my journey, I reached many crossroads, and at each one, I made the choice of whether I should continue down the same path or change it for a new one. At each crossroad, I would try the new path, and see if it interested me more than the one that I was already on. If not, I would go back and continue. You are at such a crossroad, and if you would allow me, I would like show you the new path. The path that I chose. The path of power electronics.

Power electronics is the field of electrical engineering that involves harnessing electrical potential. You will learn the ability to control electrical power and use it for your own purposes. This can be anything from building a portable charger for your phone or making your electric skateboard/scooter faster. But understand that I will not be able to teach you everything about power electronics, as it is a vast field of knowledge that will take years to master, but I will show you why it is a direction worth traveling.

Before you start, let me be the first to congratulate you on your acceptance into the Commander Lamp Academy. At the academy, there is a ranking system, and each rank depends on your power level. To increase your power level you must complete missions. At the start, you will be the rank of a New Moon Cadet, until you complete your first mission. Everyone starts as a New Moon, and like the Moon, over time you will shine brighter, and grow towards your full potential.
